What's with all the new christian members?

RE: What's with all the new christian members?
Humm, a little drama from the past I see.
I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

I was a private refferal no sabatoge
"If Christianity is untrue, then no honest man will want to believe it, however helpful it might be; if it is true, every honest man will want to believe it, even if it gives him no help at all."

And you seem likely authentic. Saved seems like a poe (an atheist pretending to be a theist in an attempt to parody theism or make theists look bad, but it's impossible to be sure because there ARE theists who sound just like that). One King seems to be rehearsing for a preaching gig.

Quote:Maybe it's all the Catholics being driven crazy by fasting and not eating meat on Friday.

Minor point: the requirement of Friday abstinence from meat was lifted over 30 years ago. It was never a hardship when I was growing up;we had fish 'n' chips and could buy vegetable cornish pasties. (it never seemed to occur to anyone that the pastry was made with lard)

I don't mind theists. When they're not being annoying, they're pretty damn amusing. Big Grin

Nice kitty kat. Was she a primate too? LOL!
James Holmes acted consistent with what evolution teaches. He evolved from an animal, and when he murdered those people, He acted like one. You can't say he's wrong since evolution made him that way.

What say you, christians? Is there some kind of conspiracy here? (Not that I expect you to tell me if there is, lol.)

Atheists- am I wrong? I don't often check the member introductions, aside from during the last few days. Are there always so many Christians joining, or is this weird?

This is a sign of the End of Days and that Jesus wants as many souls saved as possible so the righteous like myself have been feel compelled to hunt out the unbelievers and spread the good word that Jesus wants to be your friend before it's too late.

This is absolute proof that Jesus loves you and want nothing more than to save you from oblivion and have you at his side worshiping him for all time.

Doesn't that sound like a pretty good deal? Big Grin

Actually, it sounds boring as fuck!

"No-one who decides that scientific evidence is not for him and that his own experience or the stories of others is the be all and end all of deciding what's true ever has the right to call people searching for reliable, repeatable evidence narrow-minded. That is hypocrisy of the most laughable kind." Derren Brown - Tricks of the Mind.
