I have to say, I wouldn't want to do it but then I don't have any idea what it takes to maintain this forum as a place where a wide range of people can have at it.

She's the lady who's been so snarky to you. Said lady should've stuck around today and yesterday... you would have been awfully fun.

Anyway, my only care regarding private messages is that admins politely ask before looking. Not that it matters what their response is... but it'd be a nice heads-up.

Not that I use it for much more than chatting with Shelly outside facebook, seeking the rhythmness when he hasn't played in a while, and... actually I don't know what else Thinking

Not that anyone asked me for my opinion when they started discussing something involving me Dodgy

Not that they needed to either... Undecided

NOT THAT THERE'S ANY NEED TO PANIC! Panic

But... but...

That would make me incestuous...

Somehow I just can't see my siblings that way (I know them way too well to like them Wink )

This would mean I would have to stop flirting with everyone...

NEVER, I say! WE SHALL NEVER BE FAMILY! [Image: onion04.gif]

That's more than most forums tell you.

Regardless, we'll try to be more mindful.

Seriously... that would be like me pretending to be something I'm not, which is at the least dishonest... and who knows: I could be a perverted 50 year old sex robot.

I'm already an eccentric 18 year old sex goddess... it's really not much of a jump Thinking

And forever have I raised doubts in the lot of you. It must be my disarming personality at its finest (yet again).

I can't draw this out any further without being extremely obtuse.

My lackeys. Oh, and mind: it is THE upper tier.
I haven't done this in ages. It must be the result of eating all of these saltine crackers. Serious cravings going on here... but it's just not right. I *need* honey, and I need it now.

Well they say funny things sometimes. By the way... are you the they in that's what they say?

And I say very funny things usually... if you believe they are geniuses: I am Mozart back from the dead. Love me. Tiny Tiger

"eccentric 18 year old sex goddess"

That's literally the only thing I got out of Vaeolet's wall-o-text'n'quotes, but it was enough to merit kudos. Confused Fall

edit--- No, I re-read it, so now I also know "I am Mozart back from the dead. Love me." That's so going in my profile signature.

You have discovered the secret of my posts: post enough random things and eventually someone's going to like something I do.

Shameless plug: I'm open and free under most conditions. Better yet... I am fun and very experienced.

I'm sure that's the only place you'll be keeping that Angel

But I'm not sure where the closest honey is... it's bothering me to bits. I've eaten through 2 things of saltines and yet I keep eating and craving them... and I'm stuffed Sad

(April 4, 2012 at 10:49 pm)Epimethean Wrote: AA is making a good point about the pre-execution of the "April Fool's" prank. The entire point of such pranks is that they actually are contained to that one day.

I agree with that, Epi, but we just wanted to make it a lot bigger and better (hence we started earlier). Tongue

I think that especially the sock puppets One King, YahwehIsTheWay, and Niqabi Ninja (mine) made the most number of posts before April 1st. I agree that those of us who had those accounts kind of overdid the preparation. This was more of an execution than preparation, but I think it was partly composed of both because we saved the best ideas for April 1st. Atheist Anarchist, LittleMissAwesome, and Bueller, however, were used sparingly before the final day. And the Star Trek ones were created on the first day of April (which is the latest). So, I think those sock puppets were okay in that aspect of the prank.

The reason I posted a couple of threads before April 1st was because I wanted to let people know what kind of a personality and opinions that my sock puppet had. As some of you already know, I posted an intro thread and a few more topics with that account and, later on, I got the idea of pretending to leave the forum on April 1st after creating a last and final thread (which is this one). I was just going along with whatever ideas that were popping into my head. However, I thought that maybe I won't have too much time to make all those posts/threads in a single day, that's why I decided to spread it out, and post the most dramatic thread at the end (which is what I did).

Again, I admit that I was Poe-ing around too much before April 1st. Do I regret it? No.

Whatever happened, I still think it was a good prank and a lot of the members enjoyed it. Also, I tried to keep it humorous as much as possible and avoid preaching.

It must have been enlightening to assume an opposing position and see what it looks like from the other side. Was that what inspired Tibs's "leave it to the moderators" post?

No, fr0d0, that's not what inspired that post.

It was inspired by this thread, where pad's response was a little insulting to the newcomer and it seemed like he was chasing him away.
Instead of doing that, people should just report things like that to the staff, and then we will deal with those accordingly.

I have to keep checking that thread too just to check that it's real, it must have been April 1st somewhere when it was posted! Smile

RE: Objections to the April Fools Day prank.
Just to clarify something, the April Fools Day joke was that all our sock accounts would go trolling on April 1st. They DID NOT do this before that date; they merely set up the scene for it.

Pranks take preparation. I didn't hear anyone complain to Google that the videos they released for April Fools were made before that date.

AA, if you've lost respect or trust in us, tough. You are not getting an apology for a prank. We will not apologise to people who lack a sense of humour. I have already offered to step down if that will appease people, and that offer still stands, but I will not apologise. We have done nothing wrong.
