It's some sort of festival called Tatbir http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatbir
I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

Christianity has had flagellants for centuries, and every Easter some troglodyte has himself actually nailed to a cross in Pampanga,about 50km from manilla. The mind boggles at what Aztec and Mayan rituals may survive in Mexico and South America.. (I've read claims).

I have no problems with adults doing stupidly self destructive things; with any luck they will die.. Those morons are cutting their BABIES? Fucking savages.Angry

The pictures with the adults don't bother me, but the ones with the kids make me sick to my stomach. Fucking assholes.

This primitive instead of the ceremony, the Shiites have to do blood donation. There are few examples of this blood donation. But In Islamic countries, civilization is progressing very slowly.
