I was just expressing how meaningless the terms are, or how self-refuting they are. It's rather irrelevant how they came to be in the religion. The fount of Knowledge might give you some insight into that as it seems like they are an attempt to assimilate Pantheism as a part of their religion as they had done to all sort of other religions and beliefs.
Noted, I apologize if I over stepped.

We haven't. Its up to you to tell us what your fantasy is all about, theres too many different types of idiocy for you to want us to define aspects that fits into them all.

Why do you persist in saying we assert these aspects, they are common to many types of god sure, but not always.

If you cannot tell us what aspects your God has, fair enough, put it down to unknowable if it helps you sleep at night.

Quote:Lastly If you are speaking of the God of the bible then are you not bound by what the bible describes as God?

I feel sorry for you. You'd have an almost coherent argument if it wasn't for all the denominations making up their interpretations as they go along.

Quote:In one of my other threads some of you keep returning to the dry well of the omni aspects of God as if your understanding of God some how trumps the biblical understanding/definitions of God.

You mean epicurus.. who uses the word Omnipotent?

Fine.. .your God is not omnipotent.. just say so and I promise we won't use that argument. Go on. You can do it... just say "My God is not Omnipotent".

Quote:How does that work exactly? You who claim their is no God, some how has a deeper understanding of God than the bible or those who commit their lives studying it.

You have a deeper understanding of an old historically unsound document. That =/= understanding of a god, nor proves his existence.
Just an understanding of your particular books version.

I probably have a greater understanding of Aldur from the Belgariad than you do? What does that mean? Fuck. All.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
