I can understand an annulment if there is fraud involved. I can understand it if abandonment is involved. I can understand it if the marriage is never consummated. But it's total bullshit that a marriage is annuled for trivial reasons. If the church has rules about marriage and divorce, they should stick to those rules. It's absurd that annulments are granted without good cause. Especially since I KNOW that the woman in this case simply wanted an annulment so she could get remarried in the church. It's complete bullshit and they let her get away with it! Just another reason to have no respect for the Catholic Church if you ask me!
