Except that this is exactly how it works Frods. You want your bearded man. Make it so. Until then, doesn't exist. Unless, of course, my bearded man, who is much more powerful than your own, that essentially just sits a few feet higher and shits on your own -that I just made up on the spot- is equally as real. In which case, I'm willing to bend, and allow you to squirm a bit.

I certainly don't want to say that the theistic position is meaningless. I'm trying to ask if there's something to the theistic or the atheistic position that they're overlooking in discourse.

You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
