An atheist is pretty much banned on sight at a Christian forum, so... Maybe you should be happy that we're at least willing to let you state your case. Just because you stated it in the presence of a bunch of people that have heard it a thousand times before is no reason to run home with your tail between your legs.
If you weren't so afraid of knowledge, you might stick around and learn something for a change. RE: Nope, no thinkers here.

Probably the only reason you think we're bitter is because you're reading what we write in a negative angry sounding voice in your head. I'm actually smiling while writing this though you probably started reading this like if I were an angry atheist foaming at the mouth professor as portrayed in Jack Chick tracts. I'm not hostile to you at all, I just find your arguments a little worn out and somewhat humorous. But really, if you think any of us is bitter based on what you read from the stale emotionless text we post, it's probably your own biased imagination (a few of us are obvious exceptions though).

"I believe that most here come here because they need to be reassured that they are right."
Pray tell me what is fellowship among believers then.
Oh,for goodness sake, ANOTHER entitled apologist with a martyr complex.
When I think "everyone is against me" I'm usually being paranoid, an arsehole or both.
OK, so I took your advice and headed over to the WBC forums. Now, I don't know about feeling welcome, but they definitely don't like British cigarettes; which unfortunately, I happen to be quite partial to.

"shout down the opposing point of view, insult, insult, sarcasm" Oh and accuse them of everything that we are guilty of. I already explained to why most of the people here are the way they are, and it's not the reasons you claim. But let's face it. You didn't come here to have your faith tested, you came here to get a sense of self-righteousness, as is very evident by your parting post. All the best. (By the way, you're lying; you are, as a whole, intolerant, bigoted, and narrow-minded. But you see it through rose-tinted glasses; why would they be intolerant and bigoted towards their own? Ergo you have no perception of their bigotry and intolerance.) RE: Nope, no thinkers here.

Oh well, I did my best.
Vade in pace, Deciple. Educatio vobiscum.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
I am surprised that you're not bitter having to deal with yourself. People generally do become irritable after having to repeat point after point to people that wont fucking listen to reasoning. Its exhausting.
“Whoever will be free must make himself free. Freedom is no fairy gift to fall into a man's lap. What is freedom? To have the will to be responsible for one's self.” - Max Stirner.
