And I have heard that some creationists believe that dinosaurs (and all the other megafauna) managed to get on the ark, but that the air became irradiated as a result of the Great Flood, and it became harder for them to breathe.

For more information (and much lulz) read There Go the Dinosaurs from Chick Publications:

And also, according to Jack Chick, the serpent in the Garden of Eden was a Velociraptor. Seriously.

I think the most ridiculous thing I heard was that the air was a lot thicker after the flood, and that meant the dinosaurs had to breathe faster in an attempt to breathe. This set their nostrils on fire and that's where we get the tale of fire-breathing dragons from.

Jack Chick tracts would make hilarious movies. They'd rival Mel Brooks.

Yes. If only Jack Chick would license these tracts for a series of shorts, those movies would be awesome. Like this one right here:
http://chick.com/reading/tracts/1076/1076_01.asp
It stars Winston Wolf as the designated Christian and zombies.

Speaking of Mel Brooks and Jack Chick, this is from his most recent tract:

Well, I'll just say that Jack Chick tracts are a godsend when you're in a public bathroom and you've run out of toilet paper. Thank you fundies for leaving them there!

creationists are about the dumbest things on earth so whatever comes out of their mouths is almost assured of being amazingly stupid.

i recall one shithead who was convinced that the Grrand Canyon was carved by the "flood" because he poured a bucket of water into his kids sandbox. This is what passes for experimentation among the Jesus freaks.

Is it okay for me to link to a Ghastly's Ghastly Comic page spoofing this phoenomenon? If not, just google the name of the comic. It's from 4/28/02.

Oh they didn't get on Noah's ark because they were creatures created by man within a period of less than 2,000 years from genetic experiments.

Anybody else know anyone who knows creationists that believe that Dinosaurs were created by genetic modification and/or selective breeding?

Yes for the first bit, I don't know for the second since I have not heard the people I have mentioned say that. I have heard others saying baby dinosaurs instead of adults went on the ark.

Maybe you should ask a question to these same people, if they believe fire breathing dragons actually existed or still existed. Because in Job 41 leviathan is portrayed as a fire breathing dragon.

Theres some local Jehovahs Witnesses who knocked on my door and left me a pamphlet. I told them I was an atheist and proceeded to tear every arguement they had to shreds. They had to go suddenly and I invited them round to debate again today, they agreed. Nothing so far.
Maybe I should knock on their door this time. :-)
