That's the first thing that struck me too, that whatever else the news media might have to focus on, the man's ethnicity is a gift to the Faux News and Daily Fail pundits. In all fairness, the news outlets I've seen so far have concentrated on the bizarre aspects of the story, but you just know which way the gutter tabloids are likely to run with this once the novelty has worn off.

I made the mistake of googling the photos. It's much more gorey then I had expected. Gore doesn't bother me, but knowing that his entire face was literally chewed off is pretty chilling.

It's been suggested that the poor sod be kept under strict observation, you know, 'just in case'.

He was chewing on this mans face for about 18 minutes they said. When the police tried to talk to him, he only grunted. My mind would have instantly pegged him as a zombie if I was that cop.

makes me wonder, for those who don't believe in the death penalty, what would you suggest doing with a guy like this, say if he was just arrested and not shot on spot?
