So I'm supposed to live my life a certain way because of an unsubstantiated promise that I'll be rewarded after I'm dead?

If one is not a Christian, the promise is a curse of truth.

ummm ... what truth again? All I see is a bunch of sheep reading an old book and fighting amongst themselves about who has the right interpretation of desert scribblings. Truth, sir, is nowhere to be found in your religion. The very statement is an absurdity.

This is what cracks me up! The brainwashed hold up their book as the measure of all that is right and good and they can't even agree among themselves what the hell parts of it even mean.
