For once I'm in agreement with Mehmet, its war, not a sunday stroll in the park. I think its rather naive to think you can wage war and expect to not have collateral casualties. Sure the victims families are grieving and its a tragedy, but bombs have no emphaty for children, or any other innocent people in between. And BOTH sides know that. Nothing like smuggling weapons and amno in the middle of civilians. If they succeed they'll have their weapons, if not, blame the other side for carnage of civilians.

War its an ugly beast indeed.

Sure, war is ugly, and there will always be civillian casualties. That, however, is no reason to be sloppy with our placement of bombs. I have a hard time believing that the only way to successfully stop whomever it was they were trying to stop was to kill eighteen civillians.
