If you thought the first Big Daddy fight was bad, you should have seen the last ones, and then the boss fight. I completed it though, and of course like every other player; when given the choice to save the girls instead of harvesting them for power, I chose to kill them all.

The game was just ridiculous if you didn't harvest them though. You got half as much Adam, which mean you had to fight even more Big Daddies before you could get the good powerups, and then of course you had to choose carefully or get really crap ones.
There should have been more rewards for freeing the girls, instead of the crap "control the big daddies" thing you get at the end. Ah well.

The ends do not justify the means... just because i have to work a little harder to do what I think is 'right'... does not mean that I won't do that when i get the chance.
I could never make it through the rest of the game... If i freaked out over something so simple as the first time i met the flood in Halo... (And i mean a real fear... most of my shots were WAY off target, so lucky i was that i had the shotgun) I surely couldn't handle any more Big Daddy fights...
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

The ends do not justify the means, but this is a video game rather than reality. In a video game, the only purpose you have is to win, and the easier it is to win, the better.

I always play to win in games. Unless I'm playing to learn, I'm practising something new, but that's just so I improve more so I can win more in the long run - so I'm still just playing to win really.
With me in the past it was more that gaming was my reality, and the rest of life was my temporary reality that felt dull, empty and rather odd.
