Misleading title, Shell
Um, gross. It's only misleading if you think I would post pictures of a real live abortion.

I guess that gives you insight into the way my mind works... ETA: I didn't imagine you posting an image of an abortion in process, but of an aborted fetus. While I wouldn't call it "cool", I've seen them before and it was interesting.
I agree with the sentiment expressed in the images. I thought this one was good: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hph...7729_n.jpg Perhaps it's because I ultimately see pro-life logic inevitably heading that way. Sperm and eggs have a finite life before they both leave the body; shouldn't I be trying to inseminate the most women possible? And look at all those immoral virgins, abstainers and contraceptive users out there, conserving / wasting their sperm or eggs! Bastards! How many potential humans have been massacred due to their actions!?
Yeah, the Monty Python reference was cool.

It doesn't make them any less real. Or maybe I'm just desensitized to the shit that goes on in reality. I'm concerned the world has made me apathetic through no fault of my own sometimes...
The rules don't really prohibit graphic photos of that nature. It might be good etiquette to put hide tags and a warning around graphic images, however. Pornography is what is really prohibited.

I understand there's reasons why this board - and many boards - prohibit pornography (and I'm not protesting it), but it's unfortunate I think. Are photos of animals having sex pornography or sexually explicit? Aren't humans animals? If our closest relatives (species-wise, that is) still lived would their sex be pornographic? How far back would we have to go before the answer changes? Perhaps the classification lies with the intent of the photographer and how it's photographed? Or maybe it's due to us not being attracted to other species? Yeah, this post has nothing to do with this thread. (June 19, 2012 at 3:07 pm)Minimalist Wrote: Don't forget the barbeque sauce. A six-pack of eggs cost less than an abortion if you're looking for a cheap meal. |
