Then the time spent flirting with a mannequin was truly a wasted effort.

If the mannequin has orifices, never! Big Grin

(Did I jut break the barrier of good taste..?)
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Friends of ours (let's call them Tom and Tammy) once threw a backyard pool party. After the party ended they were cleaning up and Tammy noticed that the potato salad was hardly touched. She said something like, "I guess no one liked my potato salad. I wonder why." My wife then took a spoonful and nearly choked. "Tammy!", she cried out, "The potatoes are RAW!" Tammy looked surprised and replied, "You mean you're supposed to cook them first?"

When I was in high school I used to go out egging. More often than not though we'd just take anything that happened to be around at home that was a) throwable and b) edible. I seem to recall using tubs of yoghurt, tomatoes, lemons and eggs. Anyway, one night there was scarcely anything to throw and we had a lot of houses left to do. I got the bright idea to fill the backpack I had with lemons from a nearby tree in the neighbourhood. It was a school-sized backpack and was totally full of the sour fruit. So we walked up to my other friend's place and were going down the main road when the police pulled up beside us. We're about 15 or 16 years old and it's midnight. They ask us what we're doing and we say (at least partially truthfully) that we're going to a friends place. Then they ask what's in the bag that's on my back. My friend looks at me nervously. I bluntly reply "lemons". The lady officer looks very doubtful that the entire bag is full of lemons, and I must admit that it sounded like a really bad lie (even though it wasn't!) So she get's me to open the bag and sure enough, it's chock full of lemons. Slightly taken aback, she says, "what are you doing with all those lemons?!" We said we were taking them to a friends place. I was amazed at how readily she believed that. Told us to stay off the streets and take care Big Grin

Many of those nights were funny / stupid for their own reason. I remember one night my friend was pulling out little garden gnomes on someone's front lawn. The owner of the house came back when he was in the middle of their lawn. It was so dark they didn't see him and he lay prone on their front lawn until things went quiet again. What an idiot Big Grin

In high school we went to lunch at Taco Bell where we would buy more food than we needed. We then took that extra food and threw it out the window into oncoming cars. We called ourselves the "Burrito Bandits."
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

I was a London punk in 76, and walked into a pub which was also the meeting place for the sealed knot (which is an English Civil war re-enactment Society) The pub was heaving and I slowly made my way to the bar. In front of me a woman in stiletto-heals stepped back and her heal went through the top of my shoe through my big toe and into the crape soul. I reeled back and grabbed her leg trying to pull it from my foot. SHE SCREAMED, not understanding what she had done. and our feet were locked. Pucks especially in full gear were not popular in 1976, and the men around me jumped to a natural conclusion that what they were seeing was a filthy punk assault a nice young girl. I was soon hit to the floor and being Kicked around by Cavilears in full kit, floppy hats, feathers and all. This went on until the pool of blood oozing from my shoe was noticed.

In chronological order (from what I can remember off the top of my head):

- Threw wet toilet paper onto the bathroom ceiling in primary school

- Smashed windows with footballs, happened on several occasions.

- Scratched a table with some scissors, proceeded to get a 2 day suspension from school. Lol.

- Me and my friends stole a giant piece of artwork from the drama studio at our school and hid it in a random classroom.

- Locked an entire class into the classroom when we stole the keys from the teacher.

- Threw a piece of solder at a teacher. Hit him on the head, I was a pretty good shot.

- Broke my friends design and technology project by dropping it on the floor.

- Put chewing gum in some girls hair. She wasn't best pleased.

- Shouted "baldy" to an ex army guy who was one of our teachers from out of the 3rd floor window of our school. He came all the way up and interrogated the class to try and find out who it was.

- Got drunk on a ski-trip with my school. Managed to have a conversation with the dance teacher for like half an hour and she didn't notice I was smashed out my brains. At least I think she didn't notice.

- Sped my car into a fence, on the iciest day of the year.

- Left my keys in the car whilst I went into McDonalds and had some food.

- Burnt an egg.

- Told a girl she should break up with her boyfriend to go out with me instead. Boy was that a bad drunken decision.

- Grabbed someone in a mosh pit and threw them up a wall, because they threw me on the floor first. Their friend proceeded to knock me out.

So, they're kinda my most boneheaded moments. Feels strangely good to get that off my chest lol Tongue
