This is what they all do, this is what humans regardless of label have always done. When facts conflict with their tradition, they resort to trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. So if Christians are going to pounce on the god particle, of course it would not surprise me that Jews or Muslims would do the same thing. I have been at debate for 11 years and I have yet to see human behavior change.

Science always matches up with the predilections of the person claiming a pet god. Their problem is that it doesn't in reality, they just want science to prop up their myth so badly the mental gymnastics keep them in their shackles.
