Mortal Kombat was a game you really had to play at the arcade. None of the ports were ever really done right.

It wasn't too bad on Genesis for the first one. The second 2 games were better on SNES. But yeah, the arcade games were the shit. Hell, even MK4 wasn't terrible in the arcade.
You really believe in a man who has helped to save the world twice, with the power to change his physical appearance? An alien who travels though time and space--in a police box?!? [Image: TARDIS.gif]

I loved the original arcade game and I had the original for my Play station. But I suck at modern video games with all the buttons. I grew up on Atari. The best I could do on the original Mortal Kombat, was to play the novice level. My favorite character was the blond Sonja. I love the black and green leotard and hot hot hot kick ass looks.

I also loved Resident Evil. I sucked at that too. But my x wife refused to play it at night in the dark. I always thought that was funny.

Yeah the newer games got so silly with all the damn combos, and I find most new fighting games are all about button mashing (Marvel vs. Capcom 3 I'm looking at you).

A lot of the shooters suck too. I tried playing CoD4 on Xbox live once. Those guys treat it like it's the real army, took all the fun out of it. The Halo games are great though, the live experience is fantastic there.

"CoD is easier to get into and play without any real experience," my friend told me once.
I replied, "Sure, if you can get past the endless sea of profanity coming from the twelve year olds that play it".
I don't really play fighting games. I enjoy Castle Crashers, but that doesn't really count. Most of the shooters on the market today are just rehashes of older games in the series, or more successful games.
My conclusion is that there is no reason to believe any of the dogmas of traditional theology and, further, that there is no reason to wish that they were true.
Man, in so far as he is not subject to natural forces, is free to work out his own destiny. The responsibility is his, and so is the opportunity.

I find that most shooter games are just Doom with fancier graphics and varying plotlines. And Castle Crashers is such a stupid game. That said, I can't stop playing it.
