I stayed up all night to watch it but I'm fading.
This is excellent news but I prophesy I'll be unconscious when it actually touches down. Looking forward to catching up with all the data though.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Normally I'd be at work, but due to an rheumatoid arthritis flare, I'm home to watch it. (Hurray for NASA TV!) Finally my arthritis is good for something.

I'm still awake but they're talking about peanut butter or some shit. 22 minutes to entry!!! I am disappoint.
It appears that eating peanuts has gotten to be something of a tradition at Mission Control around the time of the landing for Mars rovers. Funny how we humans do stuff stuff like that.

You suffer from Arthritis? If you don't mind me asking: Where in your body and when did you contract it?

I don't mind, Gambit. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis about eight months ago after various joint issues - mainly in my back and knees. I was diagnosed as also having rheumatoid arthritis on July 20th of this year after a flare involving pretty much every joint between my neck and ankles. Osteoarthritis is 'wear and tear' arthritis - just in the course of daily living, you wear down the cartilage in your joints. It generally manifests in your larger joints first as pain, some swelling, and joint stiffness. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that attacks the lining of the joints causing pain, tenderness, swelling, degeneration, and eventually deformity. It often manifests in your smaller joints first. I have one form or the other of it in virtually every joint in my body both large and small and in many cases I have both forms.
