You ask that question like some of us aren't old enough to have been around when the original Donkey Kong was popular.

A one word expression indicating my inability to properly appreciate the accomplishment due to my age. Self deprecating in Mario-land.

Hey, man, I don't know what you guys were interested in. But it's surprisingly more difficult than one would expect.

Actually, much of the older games, especially those in the 8-bit nintendo category, are infamous for how frustratingly difficult they were. Games nowadays are a cakewalk compared to a lot of the older ones.

Agreed. It's really fun to do at parties and stuff, though. Did you every try and play Battletoads?

I actually got Battletoads as a kid when it came out for the NES. It is definitely one of the more difficult games made, and even though I considered myself to be pretty good at it, I could never get past level 10 I believe it was. Awesome game though. You should try Ghosts 'n Goblins. It makes Battletoads seems simple in comparison.

Loved Donkey Kong. I have fond memories of me and my brothers starving all week in order to parlay lunch money into Donkey Kong heaven. This simple pleasre required a mile walk/jog and a lie regarding our whereabouts, but all worth it.
