Nah, I'd be backed by the Catholics,they hate fundies more than they do atheists. I assure you,if the incumbent senile geriatric in the Vatican had his way, he would burn every heretic he could lay his hands on. He would start with the most annoying and vulgar protestants;the evangelicals, young earth creationist loons and televangelists. Very few atheists would be stupid enough to get themselves burned.
You must realise that to a Catholic "ecumenism' has nothing to do with compromise.It's about waiting until all other Christian churches,the Jews and the Muslims see the error of their ways and recognise the Catholic church as exclusive truth holder and the Pope as God's vicar- on- earth.
