Well you need to look back in the Internet, because this is what I've found so far which makes me so totally right.

You made me have to Google that, Nap. Somehow I can't imagine BoJo as a wood elf but I suspect I'm going to have nightmares about it now.

If I was feeling mean I'd probably think that by "defeated" you mean redefined the terms involved until it went away..?
No. The logical problem of evil argument is considered to be resolved by the wider philosophical community. It was a landmark event for PoR and philosophy as a whole.

Indeed.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

"Hello"
*sigh of relief* glad that's over.
So I'm guessing I'm one of your few Christian posters? I look forward to talking with some of you. I was wondering what you folks think of Alvin Plantinga?
Welcome idunno.
That guy is intense.
I think that he, like most great philosophers throughout history, will become increasingly important after he is gone.

Agreed lion, I miss him already.
I also agree with Vinny in regards to Plantinga's work on the logical problem of evil. Perhaps instead of providing a citation, Vinny would like to defend Plantinga's work. One doesn't necessarily have to be a Christian to accept his refutation. I was planning on doing it in my time here but I'm at work and I know Vinny has been dying to debate. I would also like to add that Plantinga is not thought of as an apologist (which seems to be a derogatory term around here), but a philosopher.

Argument from authority.
Unless the claim is supported by credible evidence, it may not be claimed that the issue has been to be resolved.
Solving a problem 'logically' is irrelevant in and of itself. It infers (proves) nothing about reality.

Yeah, but Plantinga's argument is actually a counter argument meant to show that one of the Logical PoE's premises isn't true (on Christianity), making that argument unsound.
tongue in cheek lion ,
but he is up there in age.
