Eastwood vs. the empty chair

* Has been against every war we fought in since Korea (with the apparent exception of the First Gulf War).
* Supported Gray Davis as governor of California.
* Is Pro-Choice
* Is Pro-Same Sex Marriage
* Is pro E.R.A.

Well, he is white, and having now become so senile as to be practically demented and rich enough to care not a wit about Medicare, he now fits better into the Republican camp.

I've never quite forgiven him for ruining Harry Callahan for me.
He couldn't just leave it alone could he? No, he had to go star in "The Dead Pool".
Holy shit that was embarrassing.
Come on dude. It wasn't that bad. Albeit, it wasn't as good as the ones before it, but still it was okay.

If I remember correctly the grand finale was him chasing the killer in his white vest tucked into his trousers looking like the freshly picked carcass of the worlds largest fried chicken. I bet the killer didn't know whether to shoot him or send him back to his nursing home. It was just awful. Like, ABC movie awful.

They were so desperate for ideas they chucked in Jim Carrey as a victim and Jackie Chans overweight brother as a partner.
I died alittle inside when I watched this film. It was like looking into the Ark of the Covenant. Thats how bad it was.

I didn't say it was one of his best, but it wasn't too awfully bad either. It did have Liam Neeson in the movie who was definitely kickass in 'Taken'.

I admit Taken was great but he was the main character in that. In The Dead Pool he had a bit part and a rather silly one at that.
Incase anyone has somehow missed my post on "The Dead Pool" not far above this one it was a true abortion of a movie that had various hardened thugs cowering at the site of an OAP dressed like hes on his way to his daughters violin practise. I know its unlikely but I just wanted to make quite certain I get across the fact that if you did watch this film you would fall into a coma from five months up to ten years after which you would regain consciousnous wide eyed and screaming and then you would succumb to renal failure.
Imagine the tape from the ring only you would actually deserve what happened for watching it.

I will never feel lucky again.

What would you say qualifies as an awful film then?

I see nothing here but a really bad improvisation, where the actor has forgotten his own lines but remembers the invisible guy's lines.

I think some of the sci fi flicks from the '50's and '60's, like the cult classic, 'Plan 9 From Planet X' was bad. After the third 'Nightmare on Elm Street', Freddy Kruger sucked toilet water, (i.e. 'Freddy vs. Jason' sucked). Steven Segal movies sucked. I'd choose Liam Neeson in a match against Segal any day. George Clooney's portrayal of Batman was bad.
Among my favorite movies was 'The Searchers' with John Wayne. I thought the original 'Cape Fear' with Robert Mitchum was also excellent. 'Dr. Strangelove' was another great classic.

Freddie Vs Jason was the most disappointing movie, ever. It should have been epic, but they fucked it up. Dr Strangelove, however, is a true classic.

Dead Pool was terrible, but it was the natural and inevitable destination of the evolution of a line of increasingly bad movies.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
