I just watched a man who's a great inspiration for me, Steven Colbert, review how the GOP is quickly becoming more Christian every day, and by that I mean divorced from any need to be saddled with the burden of citing accurate facts in order to spread the Good News.
As Pastor Deacon Fred once said, "You don't need facts when you got Jesus". Apparently the same is true for Reagan.
According to the Romney Campaign, "We're not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers"
This is good news for the Good News. And really, whether it's the flying Holy Spirit that takes us to Heaven or the Invisible Hand of Perfect Self-Regulating Markets that will bring prosperity to all if we just give the rich some more tax cuts, it doesn't matter what you can prove but what you believe.
