Napoleon Wrote:Time enjoyed is not time wasted Agreed. If I'm gaming with a couple of mates playing FIFA or something then that's epically fun, but gaming on my own just isn't my cup of tea anymore. There's no enjoyment to be had anymore and hence why I'd rather invest that time somewhere else where I'll see growth in real life.
Each to their own though.
Aww.. That's why I can 'tolerate' gaming with friends, because it's time well spent bonding with mates.
Revelation of the day!

I am going to start my second year of uni soon and I think I may be addicted to gaming and I want to know how to reverse that before it completely fucks with my life, I did not want to go to any sort of GA (gamers anonymous) as the 12 step program replaces games with the magical sky daddy. Can anybody help me as I don't want to become completely addicted.
Note: If you have a god related suggestion, keep it to your self.
Maybe you can try to step outside of your room once in a while, other than going to a store to buy food.

Sarcasm? A little. Friendly teasing? A skosh more. I've been where you're at. So no complaints.

I hope its of a snowman. Jigsaws of snowmen are the best.
It adds that extra tinge of irony when I blow torch every last piece and watch them crumble into hot ashes.
Because I fucking hate jigsaws. No parent should ever buy one as a christmas present and those who do need to have social services called on them.
... I feel I may have slightly missed the point and revealed more about my childhood than I might have wanted.

Just leave the games at home and only play for social purposes. That is what I did for college and then played during breaks extensively. Eventually, you will find the absence actually helps to curb the desire to game even if you do marathon sessions during your breaks.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Yo mumma's jigsaw!
...
(oh, and don't you hate it when someone responds to that by saying something like "actually my mother recently died from cancer / aids / home invasion"? I developed a response for that: "So?" I mean, geez. They should have to bottle up their sorrow like everyone else!)
