RELIGION Goes UNCHECHECKED

Hi my name is Matt, i was brought up to think for my self, to see, and feel, for my self, to then take what i can see, feel, smell, and make an observation of my surroundings and find the reason for everytrhing. I'm 17 and was born in russia, grew up in America, and have seen the wicked of man through life's experiences, "man is created in the image of the creator".
-My Thoughts- Religion seems to be every where and Atheist, and groups apposing, don't seam to be doing a lot to stop the influences that can be found in school, and public locations. As i have seen so far religion doesn't challenge the mind to question the world to observe and make reason of thought and action of others and political leaders. Our world and countrys are run by people who presume in higher beings, and base their info on, "God did it", "He's everywhere", and the all Famous " he die for are sins", if they don't question religion how can they question themselves for what they believe and for their decisions.
these are my thoughts for now, u can agree or disagree but Perceive the world with intelligent thought and reasoning based on fact.
