Though I'm from and currently living in the Philippines, I'm not at all like most of this country's population. So don't expect to get any insight on anything Filipino from me. For starters, I'm an Atheist. Not many of us in the Philippines.

I basically run my life on 3 principles:

1.) Logic rules over all.

2.) Apathy is easier.

3.) Always look on the bright side of life (*whistle*)

So, what's up?

Aren`t the Philipines one of two remaining countries, with a majority catholic population where divorce is forbidden by law.
So a woman abused by her husband is forced to stay together with him?

I think so. Google says so, at least. My parents managed to separate, though.

My mom has her old last name back, and my dad currently has another family. It's not really an actual divorce, though. At least I don't think. I'm not really even sure if they were ever actually married. I was 6 when they split, so my brain wasn't exactly functioning well enough to know that.

I don't really feel like asking them. That's too awkward to talk about.
