I was inclined to disbelieve in hell out of this "love others, as you love yourself". But I believe in that because I had a passionate love to such an idea. Agnostic confusion leaves me to believe hell is very possible.
Of course, with none of the religions true, I wouldn't believe in possible of "hell" for "disbelievers" type thing. But it may very well be, that wrath, hate, vengeance, are praiseworthy from one perspective. I don't know what absolute morality would be. I don't know if hell is an illogical concept.
I really hate to do this, you all know I do, but it has to be said, you're wrong again, why you do not go to scripture first I'll never understand. Go read the passages vv 18-26 and you will see they are describing God's destruction of Israel's enemies and there return to there lands. The description of light in verse 26 is about the brightness of Israel's hope. Sorry guys hell will be hotter.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
Keep it up GC and Santa won't bring you any presents for Christmas.
If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71. RE: Why I don't fear hell.

A) the place is fictional
B) IF it was a reality, then by the definitions set out in the various sacred texts yield the above results C) the writers of said sacred texts didn't have a fucking clue and probably "imagined" what 'hell' might be like for then should they lived long enough to experience it. At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

The one about the writer's girlfriend saying that she'd sleep with him when Hell froze over, which she did, therefore Hell is exothermic and losing mass (or something)?
Nope, never seen it.
