Ohhhh for fucks sake!!!! In my german - english dictonary it says that the english word for "Stumm" is dumb.
Now i looked in the internet dictonary - it means mute!

I can't think of any current ones right now, but I don't doubt they are out there.

We have a famous president who was wheelchair-bound. His name was F. D. Roosevelt (not to be confused with Teddy).

we have a weelchairbound minister of finance - Schäuble (who survived a assasination attempt in the 90s)
and a governor (Ministerpresident in german) (of Reihnland Pfalz) Malu Dreyer who suffers from MS and is weelchairbound.
