Most men are not the enemy of women. Just the ones whose thinking mirrors what is in that article.

At any rate, there is no war on men. There are a few ugly trolls in a gang that think penises are terrible. That's it.

This is just the sort of stuff that is produced in cultures that evaluate in oppositional terms. Sine they see the world as being either good or bad they also view difference in the same way.
As the sexes have anatomical differences they want to decide which is better. It is hard for people trapped in this oppositional thinking to understand that although one may be different from another, it does not follow one is better than another. Because we have inherited a culture, that evaluated in this way and pushed the claim men were superior to women, and now that, that culture is falling apart, there will be those, who will now say women are superior to men. Although this is just as obviously flawed as the traditional cultural conception, It seems people find it difficult to get their heads round the notion of equality. That two different things might have the same value, or that although they can identify a difference, it has no great importance.
