Again....But it's never the guns!
RE: Again....But it's never the guns!
If you call setting yourselves ontop of a bull in a pen brave. 400 pounds is my personal limit to face a bull head on on the arena as an amateur, pros can face higher, not to sit ontop of one. Its a disgrace for the man and for the proud beast. Shame on you.

Obviously I know what the pro-gun advocates would like.

What is it the anti-gun advocates want? I'm just curious. Could one of you write me out a summary of the legislation that you feel would protect the constitution and offer the safeguards that we all would like to see? Or is the abolishment of the 2nd Amendment that you would like?

No accusation here. Just curious.

Well how nice of you.

But I do care! I find nothing as revolting and disgusting to when running out of argument to simply regress into accusing people of things which they are not. And I actualy I hate it in general when people defamate others on a nonexisting base of evidence.
And obviously I didn`t contradict myself because she couldn`t point it out now and the last time. She simply does it because I think she finds it funny or sees it as a legit way of dealing with something she doesnt like but cant argue against.
One would expect more mature conversational behavior from a 29 year old.

You read the thread this time. I'm not going to find it all for you like last time, particularly since you turned into a bitch about it.

Writes the one who in the last thread didn`t manage to bring up any better counterargument other than a

Quote:Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that!!!

and a weird monologe on how she likes sterotyps!

Grow up! Life isn`t a ponyranch where you can simply behave as if you were the princess of vanilla sugar mordor who can simply make the ugly things disapear by looking away.

I know exactly what I wrote and I dont need someone to tell me that I contradict myself if I havent even done that! My opinion is clearly layed out in the previous pages without a single contradiction within them.

And it was you who in the last thread failed to bring up any counter argument and simply resgressed into constantly reposting

But you contradicted yourself. But you contradicted yourself. But you contradicted yourself. nananabububububuuuuuu.

Even after I posted and reposted a clearly outlined bluesheet or basic print and outline of what my opinion on the subject was.
So you eighter bring up and point out my contradiction or bring a counterargument. If you cant then stop accusing me of something which I dont do.

Crybaby. It's all there in the thread, my argument and you admitting to contradicting yourself. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure that wasn't my argument, so do not attribute it to me.

I didn`t even fucking addmit to contradicting myself in this thread!!!!!!!

I did so in the last one on a minor point!!!!! And even after addmiting that on a small point I contradicted myself - you couldn`t or wouldn`t give any argument!!!!!!

Wouldn't it be funny if I tried to dunk and failed? I'm American. Me firing guns in my backyard whilst saying yee-haw, wearing an American flag for a t-shirt and topping the scale at 250 would be funny too. There is humor in stereotypes. At least I can laugh. Nonetheless, this could all come down to poor communication. It seems we agree on a lot of things.

Were you the one who needed to put up a fence? Or was it something different? Do run it by me again, I lost track when everyone started posting pictures of their 'awesome guns'.

Quote: To add to that anecdote I also personally know (as in went to high school with them) someone who shot & killed an armed intruder during a home invasion.

So what? How is does this have any bearing whatsoever on the right to bear arms?

Y'see, I find this attitude to be absolutely mind blowing, and forgive me for being stereo-typical, but it's just exactly what I'd expect from Americans. For me, the last thing I'd be thinking of doing if someone came into my house would be to decide to have a fucking shoot out with them.

Quote:So exactly who makes that decision?

I'll presume you mean limiting who has access to guns.

Quote:Please keep in mind two things.

1.) In the USA by default all people are considered equal in respect to what they can & can't own. Changing this would require a Constitutional Amendment & you aren't going to be able to get 2/3rds of the population behind that.

All people except the mentally ill and those with criminal convictions? So nah, not everyone is really considered equal. People are obviously not equal, by what your own laws suggest.

You guys talk about the constitution as though it's some kind of holy text, and talk about the right to bear arms as though it's a human right. As far as I'm concerned both of these attitudes are just silly.

What do you actually expect from the constitution?? That it is good and relevant through all of time, just like the bible? C'mon. If the words written in your constitution become outdated then they should be changed, and I do not think that anyone has a right to bear arms. To me it's an outdated notion.

As for the population, I'm guessing they get to decide on every law their government comes up with huh? Oh wait, no, no it doesn't actually work like that does it?

Quote:2.) People who actually want to use said firearms to commit criminal acts by definition don't care about your laws to start with.

Yeah, knew this one was bound to come up, as though it's actually any argument at all for taking no action whatsoever to try and stop murderers from having access to weaponry that causes mass amounts of damage.

It's like saying someone who plans on train hopping without a ticket will still do so. Well, yeah, state the fucking obvious or what. The fact that a ticket operator comes around every once in a while and checks for them doesn't make a difference to them, OH WAIT. Yeah, it does. Because every so often they get caught. Why do they get caught? Because someone is at least trying to keep an eye on who's got a ticket on the damn train. If the people who run trains simply said "fuck it, train hoppers gonna hop", then what the fuck would the point be in buying train tickets?

So the people regulating guns simply say "fuck it, murderers still gonna use guns no matter what we do", and don't bother doing anything? Is that what you're suggesting?

Sorry if I went off on one there, but I still think it's a fair analogy and a fair point.

So to answer your question, the government should make the decision.

You should get a gun, that way you can shoot the keyboard. That's what I did. Everyone thinks they're just killing machines, not me. Shot the keyboard and BOOM, that wall of text appeared.

So, what you are saying is that it is actually the gun's opinion? That is remarkable... the guns have been our slaves for far too long, it is time to set them free.
