Goodluck ?

So you only believe parts of the Word of God? Parts of it are true and parts of it are, as you put it, "that shit"?

So how can you tell the difference? What parts are "that shit" and what parts are divine revelation? By what means can you, as a mere human being, discern such things?

Are you God?

Unless you can honestly say "yes", you have two options, pick one:
1. The Bible IS the Word of God
2. The Bible IS NOT the Word of God.

There is no "sorta-kinda" option.

At least I take my arguments to their logical conclusion.

I don't treat the LORD'S WORD as some kind of buffet table where I can pick and choose the things I like.

You are avoiding my question....

Actually, I answered yours and you avoided mine.

The "directive" is simply internal consistency in your own world view. Once you dismiss part of the Bible as "that shit" (your words), you are the one saying "that shit" got into scripture. If you say so, by what knowledge or skill can you use to determine that other parts are divine revelation.

How do you tell the "shit" from the divine? Are you God?

If you insist on dismissing parts of scripture will claiming revelation in others, you commit the logical fallacy of special pleading.

So you are saying you are Jesus then? What? Are you changing the subject (red herring fallacy) or is this a non sequitur?

I assume you're referring to Jeremiah 31:33-34:
"I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts... No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest."

This is a promise of the Holy Spirit, who is a guide of conscience and revealer of truth. Jesus again promises the Holy Spirit in John 14:15-21: “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

The Holy Spirit came upon all believers in Acts 2.

Hebrews 7:18-19 describes the Old Covenant: "The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God." Verse 27: "Unlike the other high priests, [Jesus] does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself."

There was no need to post this again, I saw it the first time. You obviously have missed the irony of your chosen verses as you are still trying to teach me about God...

You may not agree with or understand this, but here goes:
Sacrifice was never commanded by God, the Bible has recorded where He stated numerous times that He hated sacrifice and burnt offerings. Human sacrifice was NEVER condoned, you should know this. God could atone for sin any way He wanted and He has directly attoned for sin using another method according to the Bible.
