SCIENCE SAVES!

SCIENCE SAVES!
I (obviously) have disdain for religion, and some more than others. But the truth is I do hold disdain for any kind of spirituality, supernatural occurrences, deism, etc.
Of course I know that some deity may indeed exist based solely on the fact that I don't have proof that is NO reason to believe in one. The idea of a deity came from human imagination and nowhere else.

Here is a wonderful video. One of my faves. If one can be logical enough as to refute religion, IMHO, they should be able to logically and scientifically refute any deity as well. Science saved you from religion, why not let it save you still.

The video is titled "science saved my soul" :

"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful" - Edward Gibbon (Offen misattributed to Lucius Annaeus Seneca or Seneca the Younger) (Thanks to apophenia for the correction)
'I am driven by two main philosophies:
Know more about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you' - Neil deGrasse Tyson
"Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." - Mark Twain

Nevertheless, the video was not simply for viewing purposes. It was to aid my statements. I am curious to hear the ideas of my peers on the topic, even if they are brief, I will know who I'm dealing with.

In other words, I know people have seen videos I post, just as every topic posted on this site has been "thought of" before by somebody else.

It reminds me a bit of the Symphony of Science by MelodySheep.

And anything that reminds me of the Symphony of Science by MelodySheep is doing, at minimum, three really awesome things right.

Which SOS song, exactly? As there are many. I love them all, listen to some regularly.

Melody sheep=\=symphony of science

Symphony of science makes the ones you're probably referring to. Melody sheep has a few gems, though.
