I think the name depicts my opinion on the holiday.
I find it so ridiculous that long-haired, hippy douches without the capacity to understand how relationships work tend to attract females the most. I mean, these fucking retards somehow have the ability to appeal to ladies. It's a cliche of nonsensical bullshit that pisses me the fuck out.
It's all rather confusing...

Forcing romance because of some random day is never a good idea. In my opinion, the surprise adds more to a romantic gesture. That is why I don't like Valentines day.

What hippy douches? I got knabbed by a glasses-wearing, Mad-Men styling, video-game playing, computer-hacking, guitar-playing photographer. His hair never gets long enough to even use hairspray on.

There are many more people in the world than the subset you described who have no idea how to have a relationship - of all ages.
