RE: proselytizing
Well that must've been the worhip babble which requires no interpretation. I know the AOG are really strict on that stuff.

RE: proselytizing
The whole thing sounds pretty stupid to me, but I grew up in a secular house. My parents believed in something, but both thought the religion thing was a bunch of bullshit. We didn't go to church, we didn't pray, we didn't say grace before a meal, except when we visited the super religious parts of our family. It was nice not having that god hang around our house. Both of my parents grew up in super religious homes. I guess they didn't want their children subjected to the hypocrisy of religion.

There you go. Their cars are billboards for Christ. I see them around town all the time with their huge stickers. They are pretty weird and those women always dress like that. Oh speaking in tongues is hilarious and this is a great tongue speaking video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ0373FD5f4 . The people jumping around is entertaining. I've seen this, I've seen people run around screaming, I've seen people jump over benches and run around in circles when they start going like this. When I was a kid it was entertaining enough to watch them because every time a church met someone would do something like this.

When I stated "Babble", I was meaning literally what someone would call, "Speaking in tongues". It's just I had heard it more than once during the preacher praying to the congregation and of course without any type interpreter around when he would go off in left field with a, "Shabalacka tsusamtalckalf" etc. etc. etc. lol

You are correct, AOG is strict, but I would have to put the UPC/UPCI on the peddle stool for being the most extreme out of the two.

Binny, you were one of the lucky ones by far...I guess that's a major difference between someone raised in the South (U.S.) and the North. Bible Belt compared to a little more liberal conservative. Smile Tongue

The south is insane. I can talk about how it is all day long but no one understands just how crazy Christian people are unless you live in the deep south. Louisiana is just as bad as the part of Kentucky I'm in. I mentioned people still think the Earth is flat! We are very much the bible belt. I also said that our county is dry. That means no alcohol is allowed to be bought or sold in my county. It's so religious you can't even legally buy a drink within the county borders. Oh and that "Hell is Real" sign on Religulous is also in my county. There's one just like it on the interstate across from an adult book store exit. If you are getting on the interstate at the adult book store there's one that says the ten commandments and it's pointed in the other direction. I guess they figure they might keep someone from buying porn??? HA it's really funny and most sane people laugh about it all the time. I used to work at that store and I saw it every morning on the way to work. I'm so going to hell for selling dildos for a living for seven months!

Louisiana is more strict on porn shops than alcohol...lolol... However, if you go to New Orleans it's truly another state all on it's own. I love N.O., but just like Kentucky, it's back-wood inbreeds who have the education level of dumb mute.

My only hope is one day a change for the better.....

Sooo...... they seriously think.... wow.... just never mind that i asked... wow....

@ the "heaven or hell, it's your choice" sign: this is what i refer to as Black and White complex. Rational people usually grow out of it in their teens.

If I lived in a county where I couldn't purchase alcohol or porn I'd be relocating. Speaking of which I think I'm going to poor myself a glass of wine now, my favorite 2 buck chuck. Mmmmmmm wineSmile
