If they don't care for their kids smelling it then more power to them.

It's not a matter of smelling bad DLF. It's the damage to the kids health that's the issue. I wouldn't knowingly put my kids in that situation because of the risk to their health.

People doing physical damage to their own children can't be good. Like with any abuse, it's fine to be legislated against.

When did I ever mention that their kids would smell bad? A lot of people share my views and what may be extreme to one person isn't extreme to another. I think going as far as to ban smoking around anyone under 13 is extreme. In my state people would shit a golden egg if anyone tried to pass that law!

To smoke around children is abuse. Plain and simple. AFAIK it's proven to cause actual physical damage. You'd be happy for abuse to be legal?

Gross or not DLF...I try to be as respectful as possible about my smoking....but someone can kiss my white ass if they start spurting out to me about health problems or it being bad for me, or how gross it is, yada yada yada.......Tongue)

I'm an ex smoker (nearly 7years) Having been there,I'm not able to criticise you.

Quitting was the hardest thing I've ever done. The stick was " if I don't stop I'm going to die".
The carrot was the money I'd save, which so far is over $45,000.--that paid for my car,computer,plasma TV, LCD TV AND a trip to the UK.

I smoked for 40 years,that means my chances of dying from some smoking related illness are approaching 100%.At the very least,I will almost certainly die with if not from emphysema,as do most smokers and ex smokers.

No one and nothing could make me WANT to stop smoking. I was able to only when I wanted to for myself and made a committed decision to quit. After 7years,I could STILL murder a smoke this instant (I just had a coffee), knowing full well I would almost certainly throw up.

Samson,don't worry about it.Your chances of quitting and staying quit are less than 5%.-easier to quit heroin. YOUR chances of dying from something nasty due to your smoking are also about 100%

Do I care? Intellectually? Yes, of course. Emotionally? I don't know you,so no, not at all.
