Detoxification of Heavy Metals

Sorry if I mislead you but the diagnosis came AFTER all those tests to discount anything sinister.

First, your biases after becoming an internet expert are just as hazardous as any a doctor might present. Second, going to a general practitioner doesn't commit you to following his advice. If you go, and nothing clicks, fine; roll your own. But he may just know something you'd never think of, or at least offer you a perspective, the long view as it were. Third, if you don't trust individual doctors, get several opinions (depending as each along the way). (Not sure how this sits with your insurance.) I've had some experience with heavy metal poisoning, but probably nothing that would be helpful to you. In 1996 I overdosed on lithium, took a months supply at once. Took a couple months of straightening out before I got even close to normal again. (My doc said it was pretty normal for it to take a while for the brain to sort itself after a big dose of heavy metal.) For better or worse, I'm a hardy little thing. Most would be pretty toast at a 2.0 blood level (1.0 is therapeutic level). Over a week of detoxing and sipping water every moment that I was awake, and I was still at 3.0. I don't claim to know more or be in any way better than a doctor because I've done internet research. I just think that I'm able to think outside the box more (or maybe I don't have biases, like wanting to give my brother-in-law more patients...). For metals, use dark green leafy stuff for your juices, as chlorophyll is a good chelating agent. If you're interested I can give you more info, or just google it. I've gone as long as three weeks. I'm due for a fast actually, will probably do one in April or May.
An update:
My doctor refused to check for heavy metals... he says there's no reason for me to have that condition. So instead, he proposed that I go to a sleep clinic and see if I have sleep apnea, which has basically the same symptoms. Has anyone dealt with this before? No, not personally. Might be worthy of investigation along with the Heavy metals investigation and along with perhaps nutritional investigation as to a supportive diet.
Like I said before FTR, doctors over here seem VERY reluctant to test for anything.... *getting very suspicious "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5

First of all, if aluminum in deodorant were a problem, more people would be having these symptoms.
Please read this before you go buying all sorts of shit. I understand Kichi has a problem with regular doctors, but these people go through schooling, training, and get licensed for a reason. These posts are sourced, and the first deals with general heavy metals bullshittery and the body's own toxin remover, whilst the second discussing the mercury fillings and mentions the supposed link to chronic fatigue. http://skeptoid.com/episodes/4083 http://skeptoid.com/episodes/4036 Go to completely unrelated doctors to get second and third opinions if you really feel you have heavy metal poisoning and your regular doctor won't perform the blood tests. Don't give up on real medical science just because you're not hearing what you necessarily want to hear. Last I heard (and I could be wrong) the causes of chronic fatigue weren't quite known yet so it could be something else entirely. Not focusing on one area and discussing all possible options with multiple licensed healthcare professionals is the way to go. Please also read this one on fasting: http://skeptoid.com/episodes/4335
