Pascal's Wager (the new version)

Could you answer that question concisely, and directly if you please. A lot of people I ask that question have an irritating habit of directing me on long, winding explorations through holy books, and so I'd be ever so obliged to you if you could just give a straight up answer.
If you believe it, question it. If you question it, get an answer. If you have an answer, does that answer satisfy reality? Does it satisfy you? Probably not. For no one else will agree with you, not really.
I'm quite looking forward to this full proof thing. After all this buildup, it'd better be bloody good. Just as long as it's not more of the same logical acrobatics, special pleading and shifting of the burden of proof.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
Cheers for that Kaye; I didn't even need to play the video for that song to embed itself into my synapses...

Want to make bets on this?
The over/under on references to the Qu'ran and/or Hadith, I set at 7.
Still waiting for this proof of god.......
(suspect I will be waiting for quite some time) If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
WHY is the probability of god greater than 0?
Just because one might acknowledge that one cannot know with 100% certainty that there is no god, does not translate into the probability that god > 0. The probability of god could very easily be 0, as much as it could be >0. The probability of god actually being true is not affected in any way, shape or form by what outside observers can "know" or "prove" or even "believe".
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

I notice that mo is too busy fielding "crap questions" (badly) on another thread to give us his wondrous "revelation" here. Are MS and mo the same guy??
I'm thinking that the guy is a poe Yeah I know ...I'm a suspicious old biddy Sushimi! "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5
