I use to know a failed actor, now You Tube 'satanist', who I learned was a pedophile, and claimed he was also an ephedophile. In his late 50's at the time, I learned all this when he was trashed and we were in a Skype conference call together.
The way he see's it, if a child wants him, he's OK with it.
In his State of Michigan the age of consent is 16. I wonder if his wife is yet aware he's now working on his 5th ex-wife!?
After that call concluded we parted ways immediately. It boggles the mind, that kind of thinking.
And, he has kids. Girls!

I'm waiting for the headline in his area alluding to his arrest for some such. "Consent!" he'll argue! Prison! Justice will answer back.

If it isn't obvious that fucking a child is wrong then something is seriously fucked up.

Read the op. It's not about rape. He specifically said consensual. Whether that is right or wrong is what is being discussed.

Age of consent is there because they don't make wise choices and are driven by their bodies that are going fucking haywire. Fuck this i'm with the german. I basically agree with you after reading that. I'm not here to argue for or against anything relating to pedophilia.

It's the emotionality, shallowness, and childishness of the way ethics is being discussed lately by many (not all thankfully) atheists here that is becoming anoying to me.
