I find it rather ridiculous that some far-left, radical liberals find a ban on assult rifles to be nessassary to combat violence in the United States. Yet the reality of scenarios evidences the fact that further restrictions and prohibitions of people's access to arms doesn't do much to improve their behaviors.
In the year 2012, only around one-hundred fifty (with the shooters counted if killed) of a number over eleven-thousand gun deaths were the result of mass shootings.
Alongside that, leftist media corperations enjoy reporting events such as the Colorado Theater Shooting or the Sandy Hook Shooting for two main reasons-to gain revenue through advertising and to sway viewers to their agendas.
With those facts known, many gun-control advocates tend to draw western European nations as reasons by which legislators and other government bodies should have the right to trample upon whatever sections of the United States Constitution that its members feel are nesasary to. Many of these people forget to mention that the average man in countries such as England, Denmark, and Geramny tend to have a higher income and educational level than most Americans do, and also have universal healhcare systems in which those who suffer from mental illnesses can be treated more effecivly in the United States.
