I am God

If this hypothetical god commands "Do not kill" and you kill, how does the primitive psychopath respond? Does he punish you in some way?

Your rhetoric is painting a picture in my mind of you sticking your fingers in your ears and chanting lalalalalalala, like a little kid who wants to ignore the truth for the comfort of his own illogical beliefs.

If you kill, he condemns you for disobeying his commands. If you refuse to kill, he condemns you for disobeying his commands. As a primitive psychopath would do.

So where does the God of the Bible display these tendencies?

The flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the existence of a hell where he throws anyone that does not love him. Also, though it is more of a sociopathic tendency, the story of Job as well as the story of Abraham display what a sick god he is.

John 3:17-18
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son."

If you simply disregard Jesus, on what justification do you do so?

If you refuse to kill, how have you disobeyed?

The same justification I use to dismiss Snow White, Humpty Dumpty, Zeus and Osiris.

Just bullshit made up by primitive men to control the commons.

Amazing that it still works today on people like you but the evidence is there every time you open your mouth.

Your one sentence answers make your supposedly "rigorous" and "impartial" and "scientific" criticisms of Christianity very hollow. You don't prove any of the categories and concepts that you use, and you use an informal style that resembles political punditry or an X rated website than it does serious debate.

I think this is the sort of environment in which atheism thrives, in which people can make very controversial, one line assertions without serious arguments because they rely on the fact that atheists eat up intentionally offensive, humorous, non-rational ways of dealing with religion. This is the way that atheists reach the young, who respond less well to serious debate.

The one thing atheists will never do is give a serious reason why God is obligated to act in any way in order to exist as a moral being, given their presuppositions about the world. What they will always do, is assume the truth of Christianity in arguing against it, to assume the truth of 'thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself' while never proving it according to their own system, demanding that God obey the laws God has always followed and always will.

You can either care about defending the entire system of your beliefs with the same rigor you demand from Christianity, or you can go and drink your beer, play video games and go to a stripclub and pat yourself on the back for being a deeper thinker than Christians because 'U DONT BELIEVE THERE FAIRY TALES'

So you admit that the god of the bible is an immoral being?

So, you admit the god of the Bible is real?
