A Show of Gay Pride

If you're a guy and you suck dick, you're gay. I give you "pigfucker" as a comparison. Smile

Everyone has differing opinions on exactly what makes one gay. One could ascribe to the literal dictionary definition and state that a homosexual is someone who has sexual attractions toward those of the same gender. Personally, I believe that being gay is a mixture of sexual attraction and romantic inclinations.

Most people would consider bestiality depraved and immoral. Now lots of my friends do very stupid and depraved things that I do not condone. But they are still my friends. If you say that being gay is about behavior then doesn't that support the idea that you can be opposed to homosexuality (if you think it is immoral) without actually hating a person that has gay sex?

So how does that fit with the idea that a person is "born that way"? Sexual attractions and romantic inclinations can change.

Nah, it was a joke from a movie. People do all kinds of dumb things and they don't make nicknames about them, but fuck a pig once....

Sexual attraction changing from one gender to the next generally does not happen. Bisexuals, being the exception, but then they feel sexual attraction toward both genders anyway and they can have monogamous long-term relationships with one gender without cheating. Even reparative therapy has been shown to not work and be a farce in most cases.

Yeah, but whether or not you are attracted to men or women does not generally change, unless you are bisexual/pansexual.

Generally no, but its not unheard of, so sexual identity is not an immutable feature like race or gender both of which are definable and objectively testable. With respect to legal status why don't we consider homosexual identity as irrelevant as other forms of identity, like party affiliation or religion? So for example sodomy laws based on behavior and not identity would apply to both Republicans and Democrats. What difference does any of a person's various forms of identity have to do with the regulation of behavior?

I thought I was gay when I was 17. I was an atheist liberal then too.

Havn't had a homosexual thought in probably 9 years. It was a phase that I think lasted a total of one year.

No need to hate homosexuals. No need to make a serious life decision when you are that young either.

I don't see the relevance of that. What is that supposed to prove?
