With my 30th a few months away I'm looking forward to slimming down, hopefully to beat my record last year where I slimmed down to 71kg. I have the advantage this year of starting lighter - last year I was 81kg, this year my starting weight was 76.4kg. I know I'm not exactly out of shape - but that doesn't mean I can't get into better shape. Or rather slim down a bit further.
12 weeks - I started on the 25th. Although I did bench on the 25th, I did no further workouts thus far cause I got lazy. I also didn't adhere to my diet either - I'm supposed to cut the snacks out of my diet... which I didn't do at all. About the only thing that I did do was one set of daily pushups - I started with a pathetic 10 and am increasing it by 1 each day. So yesterday was 16 pushups which I did right before bedtime. So all in all I'd say I didn't do much in week 1. It wasn't a complete failure though as I weighed myself this morning at 74.2kg, so I did somehow manage to loose 1.2kg of fat in week 1.
I'll post back with, hopefully, better updates than what week 1 had to offer!

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
