If sufficiently advanced techology is indistinguishable from magic...

I think he was broken looong, long ago, personally.

He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

Take your own advice and "holdeth [your] peace" if you're really so understanding instead of blathering away with these pointless platitudes.

Weren't you calling us "lovers of lies" and giving us vague threats of hell a few pages back?

Why do I get the feeling that goodnews is just opening fortune cookies and posting what they say?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

You mean like appearing in two places at the same time or instantaneous communication without interaction or effects preceding their causes. That stuff never happens in physics.

Yeah...That quantum entanglement is a real brain-buster...

Yeah...That quantum entanglement is a real brain-buster...

But those things do happen. TV and radio are instantaneous to the viewer. It is only a third party observer that can tell it is not. Same with effects before causes in Feyman diagrams some things must be traveling backwards in time. What he is saying does not happen really does happen. The boy has no idea what he is talking about.

...I like you any-mouse...But the last sentence confused me. Please give me the benefit of the doubt, as I have perhaps had 2 too many glasses of wine tonight! Nevertheless, I would enjoy it if you could expand on your thoughts. Quantum theory fascinates me!

Doesn't bother me. IMO the definitions of natural/supernatural don't stand up to scrutiny anyway.

So, if God understands the mechanics of what he does, it's not magic.
