I think idealogue is being pretty misrepresentative of dragonetti's points and to call him a racist amongst other such disgusting terms is pretty fucking disgraceful on a thread about an innocent man being beheaded in the streets. Okay you disagree, you may even think he's racist (why is beyond me), but you're not exactly making yourself look like a brilliant example of a person, let alone a muslim. You would of thought you'd be on here offering condolences to the victim and telling us how it doesn't represent Islam, instead you're arguing about other bullshit.
Reminds me why I haven't been as active on this forum lately, when I think of the stupidity I'm surrounded by on a daily basis, this place never fails to trump it.
Anyway, my 2 cents on the killing for those interested:
The whole thing is an absolutely abhorrent example of violence, and raises some serious questions. Personally I want to know why these individuals were driven to this, and who and what exactly influenced them. I have a few suspicions myself but it's impossible really for me to give any well reasoned or evidenced say on the matter.
As others have said though, it's all too easy to blame Muslims in this scenario, and frankly the people I hear constantly saying "get them out of our country" and these EDL wankers are a fucking embarrassment. There was a message on one of the memorials for Lee Rigby that quoted Ghandi... "an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind". These EDL pricks that hijack this man's death for their own political agenda should perhaps pay some attention to this if they have any care whatsoever for this poor man, instead of going out attacking Mosques.
Overall I just really do weep for humanity at times.

Advocating freedom of speech =/= racism. How you came to that conclusion, I am not sure. I think you simply rather insult than debate, and as I said in another thread, the "R" word seems to be the go to ad hominem here when someone is in disagreement. Pretty soon the word "racist" will be so overused and misused that it will lose all meaning.
