ITT: the best thing to do with Shakespeare anymore IS to 'bastardize it', that is: base some central ideas on Shakespeare, but make the art distinctly your own. Which is to say: cars.

LOL, we don't seem to have reached point where anything other than the language needs any updating. I don't know if that means that shakespeare was a genius or that we are -collectively- failures...but meh.

Well, in fairness they stole the story but not the script. When Riff is dying he does not say.
