I used to have full-blown panic attacks whenever I needed a shot up until I was 16. Fucking horrible ordeals.

But the drugs you get are awesome! As long as the teeth aren't impacted, it's not too bad.
Seriously. When I had my wisdom teeth out I got sodium pentothol, laughing gas and novacain. From my position floating above my body I could reach down and impassively pull my head back when they were extracting the tooth in order to assist in the operation. That was one weird altered state for sure.

Well I'm not particularly looking forward to the aftermath.....I'm either going to get them removed this week or in August, depending on what the dentist says.

Considering that an impacted wisdom tooth might be the worst pain to ever exist in the universe, I'd agree.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

My wisdom tooth was growing sideways under the gum, it was huge too like a little tusk that didn't make it to the outside of my face,
The pain didn't effect my jaw though instead it gave me very bad migraines, I thought I might have a brain tumor or something then the pain first started and I would walk around the house wearing sunglasses and a hooded top to try and keep light out of my eyes and to make everything more quiet.
But I also refused to be put to sleep while having them out so I was put on the national health service waiting list to have them removed with a local anesthetic which took several months, In that time i was on 6 painkillers every 4 hours, 2 tramadol, 2 codine, and 2 which I can't remember the name of, they give them to epileptic patients to deaden the nerves.
I remember first realizing how strong they were when it took me 4 hours to orgasm while masterbating.
Because of lack of feeling. Also having dreams of flying and the apocalypse and my grandad attempting to kill me in great detail.
The doctor we were seeing also tried to con me out of money until my family went to see some local member or parliament or something to sort it all out. He told me he would do it privately for money, then when the MP contacted him he suddenly changed his mind and said he could do it for the money on his dinner hour or do it half an hour later for free in his work hour.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

Weird day. Epic weekend, so today feels like the day after Christmas. Also, things are a little strange with the new guy. I'm hoping that will pass.

Ear infection. I think. Other than that, it feels like I am losing weight, which is good.
