What was your first game? What was your first console (hand-held included)?

I am just a young adult, but when I was an infant I was able to play Sonic 2 on the Sega Genesis.

I never beat that game. Then again, the last time I played it was over 10 years ago. But I did beat Xmen! Among a couple other games, like Art of Fighting and Taskforce Harrier Ex.

Commodore 64.

Actually, had another computer before that that had a game called Nemesis. Very simple but one of the best games I ever played.

^This.

I don't remember the first actual game, because I was too young.

What a shitty introduction to the world of video games. I can only assume that you must have concluded based upon your experience that video games were the worst invention ever.

I remember my brother had an Atari, I really liked Q-Bert.
There was one family I liked to babysit for... The kids had an early bedtime and a Sega. Sonic 2 was my favorite.

No problem. However if it makes you feel better, I was the last one in my classes to get one. I was (am) a very girly girl.
