If man had not sinned then hell would be of no consequence for him but, man has and will continue to, so hell is an actual reality for man. God created man without sin man chose to disregard his perfect state and fell into a sinful state.

....and God, being the supposed omnipotent son of a bitch he is, passively allowed his creations to delve into sin. Oh wait, did I say passively allowed? He ENCOURAGED by placing the fucking tree smack dab in the middle of the garden and knew they were going to eat from it.

Responsibility still ends up falling back in his lap, since nothing occurs without God's permission.

And FYI, God created satan knowing what was going to happen there as well.

Seriously, the fucker causes his own problems and then makes his creations suffer the consequences.

He man, calm down!
Why would you believe everything that religious fanatics say?
They invented the hell in order to become intermediaries between God and the ignorant masses so if you have to swear swear to these arrogant dicks not to God that not being able to hate anybody can not at the same time contemplate the existence of hell. Thanks

It's actually worse than that: why did the tree need to exist in the first place? God created everything in the garden, nothing existed without his say so, and yet there's this tree; what purpose does it serve, if nobody is allowed to eat from it? Why is it there? What possible reason could there be for it to exist?

I've posed this before, and the answer I got back was that the tree was there specifically to be a temptation to sin, which... I mean... damn... Thinking

When you read books written ages ago and rewritten hundreds of time you got to be very very cautious in interpret what is written.
In the old time the priests season the original words in order to bring them in tune with their evil style of life so they could sit in the chair of power.
The evil style carry on and on and even if the present priests did not invented these false truth nevertheless they procrastinate the rot.Confused Fall

I'm already intensely cautious in my interpretation of what's written; I don't believe any of it until I've got good reason to, and no old book alone really cuts it.

Though we are in agreement that it's an evil little book... Thinking

That word love, obviously does not mean what you think it means.

I know more about the word and what it means than you can ever comprehend.

God does not tempt, Satan did, the tree actually represents love.

Yep, read it few times, and here is a summary:

Why do we have evil? Because God has a his lil' plan that no one can possibly understand. Why no one gets it? Because him and his mighty ways are ineffable. If he’s ineffable how do we know so much about him? Because he reveals himself through the bible. How do we know that bible is true? Because it says so in it that bible IS the word of God. How do we really know it's the word of God? Because in it God says he is revealing himself to us… Circular logic and bunch of stupid word games.

The thing is, our imagination is amazing. It produces fiction...

Using our mind alone, we cannot distinguish between fictions. Plain and simple Tongue

All I see is your judgement upon yourself.

Free choice - God style:

Worship me or I will punish you forever. Translates as (coming from a fellow human being) - Worship me or I will shoot you in the head, but worse.

The biggest failing in terms of the terror Hell holds is that all the most interesting people who have ever lived are there whilst Heaven is populated by believing Catholics.

So you fill qualified to speak for God, someone you do not believe exists, and you call us delusional.
