A deconvert from ISLAM!

hi everyone,
I am very glad to have found these forums, finally a place where I can clearly express my thoughts.
I come from a moderately conservative household and I live in Pakistan along with my parents and siblings, all of whom are Muslims. About, 3-4 years ago when i was about 15 I started to have doubts in my mind over the reality of god and his absolute power, overtime these doubts which are still to this day unresolved, and a book "THE GRAND DESIGN" led me to become a deist first and then an atheist.
Now, after my de-conversion I feel so lightened and contended for being honest to myself and facing the truth, that no matter how harsh or cold it is, I want to face it, because it's the reality!
However, a fundamental problem still remains. it's very difficult for me to contain my thoughts and to pretend to be a Muslim. I feel so frustrated sometimes, that i just want to come up clean but, I can't because of the utterly hostile response that I'll get from my community.

Scary, I don't envy you. But that also means half don't think you deserve death. It has to suck in far too much of the east for even minority Muslims, not just those who leave it completely. Sunnis and Shiites are not huge fans of each other. 

Don't know if you know who Ayaan Hersi Ali is, but she got death threats and still does to this day for leaving Islam and criticizing it. Seriously, be careful.

Hello Guys, coming here after a long time, you guys gave me the motivation needed to carry myself throughout these years in this repressive society. Now the time has come that i was waiting for, I am on my way out of here, but sadly a very sad and infuriating incident has unsettled me a lot. Please read about it in news and current affair section.
Again, thanks all of you for the motivation and advice which has helped me to not blow my cover, otherwise i'd have suffered a very very bad fate, same as the person in the post I made.

Glad to see you are still alive.  Whenever someone like you posts and then vanishes I always think the religious police have arrested them.
