Evolution vs. God

RE: Evolution vs. God
I saw this movie just yesterday, In the movie these creationists talk with scientists who try to explain why the Earth is old, evolution even Noah's ark. It's a hour long if you want to waste your time. It's amazing how silly these creationists are

Who the fuck, jokingly or not, comes onto an atheist forum NOT connected with freethoughtblogs and ASSUMES we give a shit about what PZ says, thinks, or does? I stopped taking him seriously a LONG time ago. You can't troll someone about a person they don't gives two fucks about.

It wouldn't surprise me if this is legit. He's always come across as an attention whore to me.

They all are, otherwise they wouldn't get into the public eye.

Trust me, I'm an attention whore myself. I just don't have the lacquered brass balls to assume anyone actually gives a fuck. That's what's great about religion - it gives you a personal Jesus who always makes you feel like you're special instead of confronting what a shitbag you actually are.

Well, you know, many of us love to laugh at things over and over.

It seems to me that publicising this 'explanation' is Ray trying to head-off any backlash from the 'atheist community' before the bad press actually hits. Otherwise, he'd just say this to PZ's face, surely? Further, the fact that he feels the need to explain could be a sign of a guilty conscience.

In this scenario, if the editing fundamentally changes the meaning of the remaining content, it's misrepresentation whether deliberate or accidental. If I were accused of such misrepresentation, instead of posting 'excuses', I'd be having a look to see where my accidental errors were so I could fix them and preserve the original meaning of the content.

My suspicions are aroused...

Too bad he isn't going to stick around. I've been laughing at his videos for years. I wouldn't mind getting his autograph on a crocoduck poster or something.

That gets me so hot.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.
