I know I wouldn't put myself to hell. That's just retarded. Tongue

You would try to do what is wholesome rather than what is destructive. It's the secular equivalent.

And that (pursuing what is wholesome rather then destructive) is indeed what we all strive to do.

Good point.

But who knows if heaven or hell really exist?

I have heard it both ways

Very true indeed. We'll never know for certain I suppose.

Not me, sometimes I choose to do things BECAUSE they are fucked up and would make a better story. Seriously, I do that sometimes. Why lie, sometimes I just want a beer. For the most part I try to live a life according to utilitarianism and other assorted philosophies I have brushed against. Most people that know me would attest to the fact that I am trustworthy but a little chaotic.

Not that we remotely need to of course. You can't prove a negative. If there's no logical reason to believe heaven or hell exists, then that is enough unless evidence ever comes in.

Yeah, except he doesn't. The Bible says God hates the wicked, sometimes naming specific individuals (e.g., Esau). The idea that he loves everybody comes from somewhere other than the Bible. I blame Bumper Sticker Christianity.

What qualifies as wicked? People who do evil things? People who do not believe in God? People who do both?
